If you want to verify your OS version go to

Settings > About Phone (lowest)

Look for Build number, then check the last digit

How to Update:

1. Save the update file to the root (base directory) of the SD card. Turn off the phone.  Make sure phone is charged atleast 15%. Do not unzip the file.
2. Turn off the phone first. Press and hold Power+volume Up for a few seconds maybe 10 (long press but not hard). It will display first a green screen.
3. Release the button after the screen shows a red display to show the Android system recovery.
4. Select 'apply update from external storage' and select the update file. Use volume keys to select and power key to confirm. Navigate using volume up or down on the menu and click power button to select, use normal click.
5. The phone will update. After update is finish, select reboot system now.
